Williamsburg Road Additions

For this single story sun room addition in Alexandria, Virginia, we did a full width bump out of the rear. Given the home was part of a duplex, we wanted to ensure water drainage into the neighbor’s yard wasn’t an issue so we went with a modern shed roof tilted away from the property line. On the interior, we vaulted the ceilings, went with floor to ceiling custom, trim-less windows, and painted the walls white, all creating a spacious modern feel. Our clients have large dogs so durable flooring was a must. Liking the look of hardwood, but not the maintenance, we went with a tile wood-look plank. The end result was a stunning dining room for our clients to entertain and the perfect canvas to display their expansive plant collection- both inside and out!
